General Note:
AI Version vs App Version: AI version now included on top-right.
BACKGROUND AND EXPLANATION:
As most of you already know, we have two different applications that run our ATC service. The first is the Windows Desktop App that you run on your PC. This acts as a sort of "bridge" between your mic/speakers/MSFS -- and our ATC network on the back-end. This apps gets updated about once a week, but the features are generally not related to ATC or AI at all. (Example, the 2.7 update allows you to have two intercom channels instead of just one).
The other half -- the AI part -- is completely server side. This gets updated anywhere from 2 to 20 times per day, with bug fixes or minor new features, and 1-2 times a week with significant new features or updates.
STARTING NOW.. BOTH version numbers are included in your app details. The app version is on the top-left, and the AI version is on the top-right.
The app checks for updates every time it starts. The AI/ATC portion can be updated any time, and you won't know or notice -- including in the middle of a flight (you don't need to do anything to make sure you always have the latest).
OTHER FIXES LISTED BELOW:
AI ATC Updates:
General Fixes
Taxi Arrows: You can now change the default color and size of the taxi arrows in your pilot portal settings. (not the app settings). ALSO.. you can request a size / color with your request.. e.g.. "request progressive taxi to the runway with big, blue arrows
ATC Updates
TRANSITION LEVEL IN ATIS: Per request, this is now a thing
Transition Level: The bug causing all ATIS messages to have a transition level (which was wrong) is fixed.
Hover-taxi: Fixed bug where helicopters unable to talk to ground while hover-taxiing
CPDLC: Handoffs now supported.
CPDLC: If signed into CPDLC above 18,000ft, all non-time-sensitive comms will come in through ACARS
Handoff Checkins: Controllers should be less stupid on initial contact now. I hope I didn't break anything
Taxi Arrows: You can now ask to have them turned off.
Support for strict readback enforcement now on any server
Short / GA IFR Routes: Just fixed a MAJOR bug where simbrief is creating totally invalid flight plans with invalid waypoints.. We've implemented a workaround that attempts to clean these up, and.. wow.. behaving SO much better now on these types of flights!
Frequencies: All airports now have a CTAF frequency.. (many outside the U.S. did not).
AI CabinCrew Updates
General Updates
Flight Crew: Some nice changes made to make it smarter about auto-detecting when to make various announcements.. should be less sensitive to aircraft type.

What's New:
(1) Strict Readback Enforcement: Available in the experimental settings. Please do not turn this on unless you have a high quality mic, you are willing to speak slowly and clearly, and english is your first language. Otherwise you might be in for a rough time. THAT SAID, for those who want to push the limits of modern speech recognition, you can now turn this on if you like.
(2) Two intercom channels: You can now choose two intercom passengers (a tour-guide and a cabin-crew, a cabin-crew and a co-pilot, etc.).
(3) Control mappings: You can now map a button to be your Intercom-Channel-1 PTT and a separate button to be your Intercom-Channel-2 PTT.
(4) Co-Pilots: Now available but ONLY if you are on the experimental server. Please don't use the co-pilot until you watch this week's vectors to final to see how we've built it, and what the limits are. Please. Co-pilot will only be available on the experimental server for a few weeks. NOTE THAT RIGHT NOW THE CO-PILOT ONLY HANDLES IFR COMMS!! (mirroring the real world, where a VFR pilot has no need to share workload).
